Deathrun servers split players between runners navigating an obstacle course and an opposing role that activates traps at carefully chosen moments. Runners need to judge their run-ups, time jumps, recognise deceptive routes, and watch the activator's decisions. Reaching the end can lead to a final duel, a reward choice, or another map-specific sequence. Purpose-built maps normally use the `deathrun_` prefix. The current map is especially important because it defines the trap order, route difficulty, and visual theme. Player counts and the player list help show whether both roles can be filled, while available slots indicate whether you can join immediately. Tags may highlight bunny hopping, timers, or extra minigames. Before connecting by IP, check how the activator is selected, whether checkpoints are available, what movement assistance is permitted, and how the server handles the queue for each role.
Deathrun has one side navigate a trap-filled course while the other activates traps at carefully chosen moments. The runners aim to reach the end of the map and survive its obstacles.
