First and foremost, Lagnetic is a service for discovering game servers, and only secondly a monitoring platform.
It is also important to us that we support very old online games that their original developers have already abandoned. Community-run servers for those older projects still give thousands of players around the world a chance to enjoy gameplay, social interaction, and nostalgia. That is why communities should be able to launch their own servers, keep improving them, and discover like-minded players on other projects.
Most importantly, our app, just like most of the servers you can find here, is made by players and for players.
Anyone can add their server to the monitoring using the form in the corresponding game's section. We also use automated systems to collect servers from various sources around the world — from small master servers and game community APIs to large providers of open data such as Steam and Epic Games.
It is important to note that we provide not raw data from master servers but data processed by our own systems to improve the presentation of game servers to our users. Priority always remains with the direct data provided by the game server itself.
We also use proprietary filtering algorithms for servers and their data to ensure relevance and accuracy and to exclude or flag servers that supply fake or misleading data.
At this stage, the monitoring contains over 100,000 game servers, and their number continues to grow every day.
In addition to the main functionality, Lagnetic offers users the ability to interact within game communities.
Each game has its own community section where players can share experience, discuss in-game events, find like-minded people, and organize joint gaming sessions.
We believe that the game community is an integral part of the gaming experience, and we strive to create a platform that fosters these communities and supports their activity.
Cooperation is important not only among players but also between server administrators, who can use our tools to communicate with players: publish updates, run polls, collect feedback, and generally interact within our service.
